"Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon.

OK, boys and girls, more 70s one-hit wonders: Written at Phil Everly's request as a dance number(!), this 1978 Marinell/Wachtel/Zevon composition was Warren Zevon's only chart hit as a singer. Hilarious, offbeat lyrics - voted by BBC Radio 2 listeners as the "Greatest Opening Song Line" ever. John McVie and Mick Fleetwood provided instrumental and vocal backup for the recording. Peaked at #21 in 1978, remaining in the charts for 6 weeks. Featured in the "Color of Money" soundtrack ('86). Song? Answer: "Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon. "...walkin through the streets of Soho in the rain. He was lookin' for the place called Lee Ho Fooks, gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein... And his hair was perfect ...Ahhhooooo, Werewolves of London". Lee Ho Fooks on Gerrard Street closed in 2008 and is now Dumplings' Legend. Might need to check it out if I'm ever back in London. Great songwriting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qae25976UgA&list=RDqae25976UgA&start_radio=1
