OK, boys and girls. more 90s one-hit wonders: Lead singer Nina Persson and Peter Svensson were sitting in an airport lounge waiting for a plane when they wrote this 1996 alt/indie classic. Their original version had a bossa nova beat, but their producer convinced them to go more disco-ish. It became, by far, their Swedish band's biggest hit. A girl is willing to do anything for love, even if the affection is not entirely real. Its popularity increased even further when it became part of the "Romeo + Juliet" movie soundtrack.
