"Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia.

OK, girls and boys, back to the 90s: This 1993 Previn/Cutler/Thornalley composition launched the career of an Australian singer/actress/model in '97. MTV's Best New Artist in '98 and 3 Grammy nominations in '99. The emotional turmoil of realizing that a relationship has changed and that the person you once loved is no longer the same. Song? Artist? Answer: "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia. Love that tune!
