The great Leonard Bernstein used it as an example of the Dorian Mode in his "Young People's Concert - What Is A Mode?" - "...and that is why (song title) sounds so primitive and earthy". Covered by The Manhattan Transfer and was a minor hit for The Baja Marimba Band. Song?
