"Take Good Care of My Baby" by Bobby Vee.

OK, girls and boys, back to the 60s: This classic 1961 Carole King/Gerry Goffin pop composition was a #1 hit for Bobby Vee. It was part of the now infamous '62 Beatles Decca auditions (rejected in favor of The Tremeloes - they're STILL kicking themselves in the behind!). Bobby Vinton (aka The Polish Prince +/- Mr. Lonely) took it to #33 in '68. Also covered by Dion and Gary Lewis and The Playboys.
